Asia was born on August 11, 2006. She is living at the Guiping Social Welfare Institute, Guiping city, Guangxi province, China.
At Jan 24, 2007, she was 61 cm in height (24 inches) and 6.7 kg in weight (14.74 lbs).
The meaning of her name: "Jin" is her last name. It comes from the first character of "Jin Tian Zhen" (Jintian town). Jintian is located in Guiping. All children at that SWI use "Jin" as their last names in memory of this town -- J intian, Guiping where the earthshaking event "Tai Ping Tian Guo" rebellion happened. "Yufei" means immaculacy.
What the proposal documents say about Asia: her reactions are quick; she is an active, lovable, bright and restless baby. Her eyes are bright. She likes toys with sound. She adapts easily to a new environment and does not like being alone. She is an extrovert and always has a ready smile.

So happy to see the photos - what a beautiful family of four! Jenna is really excited looking at Miss Emily (she's saying "emamee" over and over as she points and asks to see more).
