These photos were taken near our hotel. After Emily's nap, we went to the nearby shopping mall to look for some clothes for Emily. I packed light -- only three outfits (including the one being worn) for each of us. Emily had three outfits in two sizes because I wasn't sure what would fit her. As it turns out, she wears size 18 months for tops but can still wear 12 months for bottoms, although the length may be short. She seems to be long in the body. We gave the 12 months clothes to the orphanage. Emily has more outfits (two sizes) in our Beijing suitcases (we left one large and two carry-ons -- lots of room for shopping!). We bought a sleeper at the mall; a two pce outfit in the market (and two chinese outfits). The girls have their first matching chinese dresses -- they'll look cute (and beautiful).
Chris had a chinese woman point out to him (by touching Emily's leg) that her pants were riding up her legs; she also gave him a dirty look. This is our first encounter ever (didn't happen with Asia) with the 'clothing police.'
